So I made the mistake of walking into a guitar store today and this happened to me.

Ohhh ... you naughty boy. PRS are dangerous guitars to test.

Followed or haunted? Let's face it, you called the spirit by going into the store. We all do so. Well, if nothing to do, congratulations then

It's an S2 custom 22 semi hollow, one of a limited run of upgraded S2s. They say the hardware and electronics are the same as the core guitars and the pickups are 85/15s. The only differences are instead of the core guitar violin carve you get the S2 bevels (which I prefer), a scarf joint at the headstock
(a difference that makes no difference is no difference) and around a 1.5 to 2K smaller price tag.

PRS calls the finish "Faded blue smokeburst"
I think the bird inlays are a different material than the core guitars as well, again a difference that makes no difference.

I had to somewhat behave myself in the store out of consideration for other people but I just spent some time playing it through a small pedalboard into a Supro
Thunderbolt + and the guitar is scary good!

This S2 thing seems to be spreading ... let's keep it quiet how good these PRS beauties are!

    That one's a custom 24.
With 24 frets you get the owl.

    The S2s are really good.
I also have a Mira and a Mira semi hollow.
They are my main gigging guitars.
