    Still awesome, this!
    SGs to the max!
Was in Oslo and got me this today. The legendary "NOLA" with Down.
rsz_20190128_154734.jpg A set with TWO 180 gram vinyl discs! Worn out the last one totally, so this is seriously cool. To me, This is The Stonermetal album from the 90's. Its hard, 'eavy and very infected with an unhealthy dose of Sabbath ..!:D

One of my favorite albums of all time. Down II and Down III are up there as well.

Cool to hear, man! I think they lost some grit when Rex left, but the others certainly have some good ones. Like this one

Amazing album! Love everything about it.

I always felt the riff on Bury me on smoke has a bit of Black Flag on it (check 0'30" :naughty:)

!!! That riff is pretty similar, yeah, hehe! Can easlily picture a teenage Kirk Windstein misbehaving with this track goin in the background, hehe...
Saw them in Oslo, like ten years ago, awesome gig. Kirk Windstein is by all means a true heavyweight champion of the SG. I love Crowbar, btw! Heavier than hell!:D

Awesome track this, too, btw! Black Flag has some real cool tunes! Pioneers of course. :)

Back to NOLA! Heard it at least four-five times yesterday, hehe. There are so many killers there ... But the opening, folks ... goddamn.

Saw them in Milan many years ago, I think it was 2006, great show.
They have been with no doubt a super group and ahead of their times (love Jimmy Bower behind the drums and with a guitar in his hands, one of the most massive sound I have ever heard live).
