And they sound better at a 90° counterclockwise slant.

    Nice taste in amps... :yesway:

I have an Avatar 2x12 with a Celestion G12H30 and a Celestion Vintage 30. Sounds absolutely massive with a cranked amp. What model of speakers are in your Avatar cab?

The cab is relatively old now. It was one of their earlier ones with V30's in it. They are pretty well broken in now, or are somehow different, as they do not sound like the "new" V30 speakers I hear.

I have never been able to figure out why my tablet/phone pics turn sideways in some contexts, and not in others. I would love to know how that is corrected.

I read a lot of criticism of V30s -- harsh, spiky, etc. That is definitely due to them need a good long break-in.

Once you've got say 100 hours on them they are delicious. Harshness gone, replaced by good old fashioned tone.

Mine are well broken in and are probably a decade old. They seem to work really well with the amp for the British voiced thing.

    Fixed the picture.
