I saw this and got inspired to seriously try and learn some fingerstyle:

No surprise, I suck, but it is funny how much more a half-hour of work improves me than it used to.

Nice but the real essence of Chet style is using a thumbpick, with abit of palm muting:

    Watch the man himself!

Did a little work on 'sunshine of your love'. Neat little riff that, nice and easy. But also way cool.
Not normaly a clapton fan, but I like alot of the work he did with cream.

He may have done a good bit of his best work with Cream.

I've been playing for about 18 months now so my catalog of songs is somewhat limited. That being said, the most recent songs that I have been working on are My Hero (Foo Fighters), Hells Bells, Iron Man and Tom Petty's Breakdown. I've got a handful of other songs under my belt now, nothing fancy or complicated but I have a great time playing them.

Playing guitar is just so much fun. I just finished Justin Sandercoe's (JustinGuitar.com) Intermediate course so my next order of business is concentrate on his Blues series. I take my time with these courses, I am in no hurry, I don't need to be ready to play Red Rocks or Madison Square Garden anytime soon.

Not a guitar thing but basically having to teach myself how to play drums on the keyboard, on top of not actually being a drummer. two days and I really think im starting to get the hang of it, a little more time and i'll have my songs complete.
