Greetings all... My first Gibson SG... an All American SG-I... serial points to Nashville '94... It had a nasty Duncan Invader when I got it, so I swapped it for a P90... now it's perfect... incredibly resonant guitar...

yup... she's very red... wine-burst I think... the burst part is very subtle...

these only run $500 or so... very budget friendly

6.5lbs... very back friendly as well

I just got SGJ2014 last week and few days after...:naughty:

Just added pick guard, polished, change pegs(SD90MG) and knobs, and so on.

Figured I might as well post a couple pics of the "girls". Although I am primarily a pedal steel & Fender guitar player, as my style of hybrid "chickin' pickin'" does NOT work with a Gibson, I think every Fender player should own a Gibson, just like every Gibson player should own a Fender, for those times when you need something a little different. Gibsons are great for rock & blues, but for country, ONLY a Tele will do.

    Here from L to R:

'74 P-Bass; all original except for pickguard
    '77 Guild D-50; all original
'014 Custom Shop VOS SG/Les Paul
'72 Stratocaster; All original except wired for all pup combinations
'89 Custom Shop Telecaster...NOT a relic, I wore it myself
'00 Emmons LeGrande II D-10 pedal steel; Emmons setup, 8 pedals 4 knee levers.

I somehow missed this when joing up, so here's my Standard Natural Burst I got for Christmas last year.
Sweetwater's studio makes better photos than I do in the living room.
