Not sure if this link will work, but looks like there are some limited edition Standards in the pipeline, at least destined for here in the UK, at some point this year (I guess may depend on if Gibson are working etc with corona virus this year).....yellow (but not TV), olive and shell pink.
And with T type pickups. Interesting.....

Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere.

Standards with small block inlays and custom colours... interesting, though I personally don't like any of those colours. 'Olive Drab' might've been great camouflage on a B-17, but IMHO the name sums up the effect on an SG. :)

A bit baffled by their description of the pickups:

"Exclusive to only this particular model, these pickups have become increasingly desirable among Gibson fans and cannot be bought separately."

So they're exclusive to this model - which isn't expected in stock for four months... Can't be bought separately... yet they've become increasing desirable? By whom? Are people now increasingly desiring pickups they've never even heard?

Why can't they just be honest and say, "Gibson humbuckers with a new name that help you to justify buying a new guitar". We'd all buy that line. :)

If they’re going for a 70’s vibe with the small block inlays, why not include a Volute and Harmonica Bridge?

Too much cash for the R&D. Also, the neck pickup ring should be flush with the end of the fretboard. Of course I don’t know for sure, but it wouldn’t surprise me to learn if the new T-Type pickup is simply a regular 490 with an Alnico 5 magnet. Let the rumor mill begin!
