I think this would be a useful edition to the forum; a location for all things EDS-1275.
where are all the EDS-1275 owners ...?
I can't be the only one...
You might be... Lol...
Well, start a new thread at the Gibson SG section, and ost your guitar there!
Pics are great
Yep , We want to see pic's !!!!
Is it Cherry red or white ?
Looking out on the web there is no obvious source of info on the EDS-1275 model.
Threads about EDS-1275 on other guitar forums are out there, but you have to go digging to find them.
An ESG sub-heading dedicated to EDS-1275 seems the perfect way to capture knowledge and tips in one place.
Perhaps because it's not technically an SG even though everyone sees it as being a double SG - myself included.
I dunno, just playing Devil's Advocate a little.
No, you aren't the only one that loves the Double necks. I too love them...
Love to play them as well. When you get a good one... it's heaven.
But you have to be careful when you get them together.....
It may be a good idea to have a separate section for them, but it may be extremely limited as to how many actually have one... or more. Then we need to think about the other side that... to do that it may open a "need" for a Firebird, Vee, LP.... etc. Where do you stop? I would suggest a thread and see what response you get.
Thanks for the replies and pictures (six string).
A couple of weeks have gone by and it is clear that there is low interest for a subfolder dedicated to the iconic EDS-1275. Topic now closed.
If nothing else, post from time to time in this thread and others will see there is an interest in the Doubles. And even if it goes by the wayside... there are still enough of us that love these guitars!
Doublenecks in general are cool. I saw a pic of Billy Sheenan and Paul Gilbert with doublenecks...
