I have been getting this screen a lot lately.
    Screen Shot 2019-07-06 at 7.22.18 PM.png
Am I the only one? At first I thought it was because I was using an old Mac,
but I've been on this site with my newer machine and gotten the same bull taco.

    It's really irritating.

I don't know what it means, I've never seen it before the last several weeks
and if I never see it again, that will be a source of joy.

Hi Colonel, I have gotten this message too a couple of times. I don't know if this means that only do many people can be on the for forum at one time, but I usually get back on a few minutes later.

It means you've posted too much Col. and they're warning you to slow down because you've been too helpful.

In all seriousness, I was getting that message sporadically a week or two ago. For me everything here has been running smoothly the last week or so and I was hoping all the issues had been solved. :fingersx:

I think it means "you guys are having waaaay too much fun with your SGs". Again, it's probably hackers from the clarinet forum.

Yeah I have seen it a bunch over last several weeks.

I think most everyone knows this site is being hosted ( plus others I guess ) on a dicey old not very good web forum platform set of software.

The owner(s) dunno who they are exactly make some small amounts of money ( maybe more than that ) basically selling off ads to people using the forum.

It should be secure https but it is not.

So bottom line there will be issues using it and trying to use it from time to time. The owners want to make money other people want to hack it and also make money etc.

So be extremely careful using this site and sites related to it. Do not use common passwords etc.

As a computer pro waiting to retire it makes me very sad to see stuff like this still around. Make sure your computer is very well protected or your smart phone is backed up regularly and getting maintenance etc if you use this site.

I've said the same recently. Since all the forums have adopted this same "look" the past couple years they all have become glitchy. I don't ever remember the string of issues before that change.

I think it's my wife's doing. She's reffering to my authorized guitar budget. It was only supposed to go on Ebay and Reverb. Sorry for the disruption!

Ps I just got this same message "Resource limit is reached" when I tried to get on the Gretsch Talk site where I am also a member, so this may be some sort of tech message for these forums, maybe there is a limit as to how many people can get on at one time?

It all starts from a site owner(s) hosting sites using crappy old hackable software not taking adequate precautions and not having enough security or technical support etc.

These site owners are making money by having ads thrown at you while looking at the site.

    Be careful folks ...

Be careful complaining about it too. I was threatened by a mod on a sister site for doing so.

So unreasonable! I just quit a (the?) sister site because the mod was hypocritical and lied about me. Imagine!

Well, I guess it's tough to get support for Commodore 64s these days.
