Has anyone ever used these guys? Seems like a great way to try pedals before you buy them... Like Netflix for pedal boards, with the option of buying. Mind... Blown!

No body has any experience or thoughts on this... I guess I'll have to take the plunge and give a review :naughty:

Oh god no! Absolutely no affiliation.. I'm just really interested in the concept as someone who loves pedals, and a big spender on pedals. I like the idea of being able to try out pedals pedals without shelling out hundreds of dollars just to return them and eat shipping and restocking fees. Being a pedal nerd can be a pain in the ass!

I'm trying not to fall into the 'Pedal GAS' world :wow:

Wasn't being entirely serious about Pyramids tho ;) does look a good way to satisfy the need for tones, we could do with something like that over here too...

I prefer trying the pedal at a brick and mortar store, with a rig similar to mine.

Doesn't cost you anything, and that is preferable. My issue is finding local stores that carry what I'm interested in, and they almost never do. If you're looking at Boss, EHX, MXR, Dunlop it's not much of an issue. But if I want to try a Strymon, Empress, JHS, or anything remotely boutique'y I'm totally SOL finding that stuff locally.

I need an online service that does the same with amps! I'd really like to take a Dr. Z M12 for a spin with my pedal board... As if there's a Dr. Z dealer within 100 miles either

Idk. I order a lot of weird sh!t from Amazon. My wife pays for the prime. I just abuse it. Like ordering delay pedals to try as many as possible and then getting it locally. Or ordering dumbbells and returning them. I bought a pack of gummy bears for $.89 once. I kept those. But they came in a 4"x6" box. I hate Amazon. It costs them more money for shipping then they get from me in sales. Want to try a Skreddy, or Empress, or JHS, or Earthquaker Devices for 29 days? They have those. Give it a try. Tell them I sent you.

There are a cople of pedals made by Israeli manufacturer EC Custom Shop that I'm interested in, and probably could test through Pedal Genie.
