There's a SGJ for sale around here. He says, selling because collection too big and don't have time to play them all lately. You figure the guy knows his guitars ...

I ask him how's the neck profile on it, I don't want slim fast, I want chubby 50's.

Answer: I'm out of the country for the job, I have no idea.

    ! ! ! !

Asking $495 CAD and negociable. I figure I could get it for $450 ($340 US) or a little less. Should I jump on it ? If it's not my thing, I can surely get my money back.

    Umm...I have no idea lol.

Actually that could be a positive response from the seller. Some people just have no idea what they might have and it works itself into a nice deal for the buyer.

Just found out it's a slim neck, not for me.

I have no idea either, because I too am out of the country (Canada) :naughty:, but I have to say more than once I have wanted an SGJ. Guitar Center's used section has a few, sometimes you can get a good deal, but $450 ($340 US) would make it a very tempting deal to me.

In the past, I remember reading the specs for the SGJ neck were 0.818" at 1st fret and 0.963" at 12th fret with '50s Rounded profile. I wanted one of these guitars in the past for this very reason.

Here's the archive page that I found, which I realize is for the 2013 model. The SGJ was only produced for two years (2013-2014).
