I can't afford the vintage ones with humbuckers. ;)

Well, I suppose this one can get into this thread on a technicality...

Oooh the good old days! Apart from the SGs, I was an LP fan too. A good LP was a dream since my childhood. But when back began to alert, I sold my Japanese baby. She was a Greco and never made me feel sad or look for a Gibson LP. Here is my baby when we were happy together:

Plaintop, elegant, sound very nasty! Goodbye baby!

Took this pic last night, bad lighting and all, but the carve was showing so beautifully. It's a 2013 Standard, the same one I posted here somewhere.

Pacific Reef ... How do they come up with these names ? But it is beautiful. I'm a sucker for blue guitars even if I don't own one.
I like the photograph, cool vintage look with that thin foggy veil over it.

Took this picture at a local landmark we call “Acid Bridge.” What a cool guitar and cool spot.

Got this as a stepping stone to one day have a Gibson. 1978 2651 set neck Ibanez with a Superdistortion. It actually came with that pickup in -78 and has a sticker on the back saying DiMarzio powered. It quickly transpired that there is no way on Gods green earth I will ever substitute it for, or even supplement it with, a Gibson. The thing is an absolute killer and a joy to play. If you ever find one, get it and RUN. I'm NEVER selling it and you'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

Here's my traditional in the garden. It's a bit damp out today, so it didn't stay out long.

A 2006 Epiphone LP Standard and a 2008 Gibson LP Studio. Both are really sweet guitars.
