What if you could have every amp you ever dream. Them what if you could have that and a few more, actually much more and I meant a lot more.

Well, enter the Kemper Profiler Amp and the dream comes true.

So the Ultimate Rig is a modelling/profiler amp..? And a Music Man to go with it..? Each to his own, man. And when do you ever get the chance to crank up a 600 watt amp? Wembley? That post sounds like a shameless and very incorrect ad IMO.

Spot on! How could any ultimate rig be complete without an SG? Or say a tuning pedal... Who wants to stand by the amp in order to tune up?

The Kemper Profiler is not a modeling amp, hence the name "Profiler". It is a complete different technology and captures the sound of an existing rig and stores it as a profile, allowing you to tweak settings as though it were the actual rig. It also ships with the option of a 600W amp or without. The reason for the 600W amp is because it not only profiles guitar rigs, but bass rigs as well.

Since I do not play bass, I have the Kemper Profiler only, no 600W amp inside the unit. Also I do not play live gigs, so I run the Kemper through my audio interface to record directly to Logic Pro X. The Kemper Profiler without the amp has the option to connect to a separate rack power amp and speaker cabinets or FOH.

I am usually at my desk when playing and so is the Kemper, so tuning is not an issue.

I sold my "ultimate rig" pictured below years ago when I took a break from playing for about a decade. Now that I got back into playing again, the Kemper is the ideal tool for my current playing situation.

I guess your right no SG not quite politically correct here at Everything SG. Since I don’t own one at this time and I really dig the Music Man it is the guitar that completes my ultimate rig. If you get an opportunity to play one you will realize why this guitar is so great and rivals everything else I own or have owned. I mean it covers a lot of tonal ground and styles. It evens does acoustic. The Kemper is an amazing tool with great dinamic response. It is what both offer, the amp and the guitar, what makes it the correct ultimate for me. No shame here.

Good for you. Meets and exceeds your needs or so I assume. Big fan of the poly tune. I have one on my pedal board although I also enjoy the rack mounted Kong Pitch Black. My main OD Pedal is a Maxon 808, the same people that designed the TS9. The Kemper’s Marshall profiles are amazing. Having a JCM 800, 900, DSL100 and even a Class 5 among many others in one box is nice and practical. This why the Kemper is my ultimate amp. That not counting the multitude of other profiles available for other brands and models.

I am glad I have invested on this gear. No shame.

Hey, to each his own. No single amp does everything best, as general consensus has it. The Vox AC-30 is my favorite all around guitar amp.
You should try the Carlson-Wagonlit 1991. It's a good unit for recording.
