Thoughts on the D.C. Climate Strike?

    Many people are planning on participating in a general strike, calling on our elected officials to address climate change legislatively. Its supposef to take place from Septemeber 20th to the 23rd, details can be found here:

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Side question, have you seen footage from the Paradise, CA "Camp" Wildfires last year?

    I didnt until recently and its appalling.

    There is now only one political party in one country actually denying climate change, and it is time for unanimity. Here in England it seems that every summer sets a new record high temperature. spring flowers are appearing almost a month earlier than they used to and here in London we no longer get actual winters - just a couple of chilly days. I don't even heat the house most days. In my youth waist deep snow persisted for more than a month most years.

    None of this is going to bother the planet - it will go on spinning with or without us.
