    Thats a nice find i thought i had one earlier this year jumped in car drove across town ... but i cant play left handed. Almost bought it anyhow!?

    Nice guitar. The pickups are great! I have the current model. Its my main guitar.

    As far as I know the pickups should be identical, except for the cover (mine are nickel). I recently replaced the neck pickup with a humbucker sized P90 for more versatility. But I love the Iommi Pickup at the bridge.

    I'll bet. They are the same pickups, btw. I played one of these a few months ago and if I wasn't on a gear diet, would have snatched it up. Congrats.

    I understand the 'gear diet' thing; I've been on a few myself, but next time if you see one grab it. It'll be your reward for your self-imposed discipline.

    I believe they are the same pickups. I have the current generation Iommi and an older g400 that I put a set of Gibson Iommi pickups and the sound is the same.
