    TubeDepot.com

The most rare EL84 / 6BQ5 in the world – the Genelex Gold Lion N709
is also the best sounding. These come wrapped in plastic with factory data sheet.

Price is Per Tube (PE-N709): $499.95

    You're kidding me, right?

(thanks to SGM for the link)

    I have to say it......

If you have to pay $1600 for tubes to try and make your guitar sound good...then you need to actually learn how to play guitar.

Agreed H2H. I struggle with the concept of an amp allegedly sounding "$1600 better", with those tubes in.

Mussbe for a bone stock resto. If it were me I'd silkscreen a facsimile on the tube.I'd hate to have tubes that cost more than a good amp or my guitar for that matter knowing that they may be good for only a year or so.Geez!

Coincidentally 68GSG you can get a Vox Super Beatle for about that same amount of money ($1600.00USD) :D I saw one on eBay recently that was in pretty good shape except for the words "This Thing Sux" scratched in the Tolex evidently with a pocket knife.Seller was from somewhere in NY. :p :D
