Upper fret access on my new Epi SG

    This arrived today. As you can see, it has excellent access to the upper frets...

    The area circled is broken off to the back edge of the neck pocket. it's being glued in now.

    Tomorrow this gets reassembled.

    Wow,well i hope you bought it or aquired it knowing this.hate to think of you expecting one in one piece to arrive and find that.ouch !!!

    It came from GuitarHuggers.com. Yes, it was sold as a basket case, with shipping, it was $46.00, so i figured 'why not'?

    Are you going to use Titebond or hide glue to reattach the neck?

    i've used Titebond for so long, it's difficult to change now. i know what to expect with it, and it's never let me down.
