Just showing off the use of these robotuners without the use of the digital device. They work and thats what matters, i had useless hexagonal tuners on here before rendering it useless because it wouldnt stay in tune. That has now changed, I recently eliminated all groundong problems with this guitar and it rocks. I disconnected and removed the second tone knob because the pot was damaged and causing problems. It previously had strat style master volume with two tones. The 40:1 ratio isn't that bad, its alright since this guitar likely wont leave standard tuning.I really love this pickup and switch configuration, its remarkably versatile and finally unique. 20190321_025846-2.jpg 20190321_025855-1.jpg
Not sure why the hell the black finsih looks like an oil spill... It looks fine in person. The 7" vinyl stacks that might be seen are salvaged from multiple sources. Im sorting them slowly between what is playable and what is not, what cannot be played will be used as decor around the house.

Thats a good thing though, Id snag one if ever it came my way for a reasonable price. After the tornado last year we were without power for 6 days but they estimated it wpuld be 14 to 27 DAYS to get power back to our area, the morning after when my phone was dead and there was no power I was so happy to have my Boss tuner that i had for years, coincidentally that night I left it on a bench outside my garage and it got rained on, it hasnt worked the same since. A tuning fork would be handy.

Ha ha this set of tuners ( not the backplane automatic part ) seems to be a perfect cyborg match with the axe!

Appropriate, perhaps. Perfect? That abomination obviates such an adjective.

The small U-Channel at the top of that headstock appears that it might have been a tuning fork at one time before it was sawed off.
