I just found a reel tape of practice sessions I recorded with my band in ... 1973 !

I had to fish around to find a reel to reel tape machine to play the tape. Fortunatly a friend has one. He lent it to me at the condition I give him my old reels when I return it. No problem, I just MP3'd them. I tried as best I can to clean them up, they were really hissy. It could also be that the machine I played these on needed a good head cleaning.

That was in my former life as a bassist. Funny ...
Here's one of the guitar player and me (on bass).

Very nice! I shouldn't have spent more time with a guitar back in those days!

Same tune, more instruments. I remember there being a keyboard in the band, maybe he was at the john's when we did that take.
