H2H, is that the ad120vtx or the earlier model? That baby's also on my wishlist!

Earlier model, I wanted open back like a real AC-30.

I am working on building a panel that I can bolt on neatly to the back for when I want a closed back sound when recording, though. that way I can have the best of both worlds! There's a perfect little space for doing it.

hmm, wonder what the newer "vtx" would sound like with the back pulled off? Speaking of ac30's, think i'm gonna have to add the new AC30 Custom Classic to my wishlist too!

Which model Voxman? Seems they'll have 4-5 different speaker combinations and models. The less expensive of them have GSH12's (not sure of coding). Any idea what those are?

I just need a head as I've got too many blues and silvers so it has to be a Head! I wasn't that impressed with the silver celestion but the blues are the best new issue speaker made IMHO but I use real 60's T530's and 1088's...... I have a set of the reissue Blues and there great but I use the oldies. If you listen to both you'll want the Vox blues boy the price goes up exponentially!

That's what I said,,,,,,and if you have issues with that ribbon your in for the time of your life .......connectors and all! But that's how they make a cheap amp ...I GUESS....I don't like it either as it's been problematic in the past w/ other amps but I'm gonna give it a try soon. Oh and preamp tube sockets soldered to the board too...........Oui Vay! Hope I don't have to eat crow on this one down the road....but if we have issues we'll solve them together as usual so what the hell...it sounds great w/ the Vox Blues as that other cheaper celestion option didn't do it for me. But the Blue speakers are big $ but are the finest currently manufactured speakers IMHO!
