Yes, all of us ETSG members in the gig.

Here Verena and me performing as a duo (Velvet Beyond). Not quite, but almost an SG bass - the EB-11 (Les Paul Junior DC bass) in action. It is my main bass in this project, in the future i am going to supplement it by my fretless Flying V.

I must be playing "Child In Time"...

Nice pic, looks like a good gig. And a Guild on the wall? "Child in Time" as in Ian Gillan and Deep Purple?

    Yeah!

Beate, thanks for sharing the photo.

No recording - i was too bad in this gig (and we only have a partial video which gives me hints to improve m playing).

And yes, Child In Time by Deep Purple. I am playing the intro... and Verena takes the solo part on the sax. Her own improvisation of course, and on the full riff, not just a minor...

We are also trying Behind Blue Eyes (with the often supressed but thematically important bridge part...) and Stairway To Heaven. Here is our current setlist: http://www.velvet-beyond.de/?Repertoire

This project is pretty demanding because i have to merge the roles of guitar and bass and find a suitable style of playing for every song.

BTW: publishing songs on our website is unaffordable here in Germany.

Eclectic list, I like it. Like you guys, I do a lot of duet gigs, and understand the need for merging parts.

Yesterday evening. Session with drummer an guitar - both women we knew from a yearly seminar.
Playing my white Epiphone bass. We did something like

    Passenger
    Otherside
    Touch Too Much

Music was hot. Room not so ;-)
And Verena played her brand new used Tenor sax (a Keylwerth)
