    Didn't I start this 8 page thread?

Thanks to all that contributed. I'll post the weight of my "new" 2008 white Epi G400 SG (hey, the truss rod cover says 'SG' ) when I get a chance to weigh it.

Congrats David. I love the white SG's and know you will make it sound great.
My ES175 was one of those Ltd Ed Custom Shop guitars. I wish I could hear you playing mine to see how you like the jazzbox vs. say your ES335.

I am really super excited you got the White G.

I'd like to compare your Epi 175 to my 79 Gibson ES-175. It may be closer than you think.
Some of the Epi's I've played have been quite good, including the hollow and semi-hollow models.

    BTW, I haven't had a 335 since the early 1980's.

Thin but wide and easy to play neck, the pickups compare well to the 57's in my copy SG and may be a bit hotter, for a hundred bucks.

My SG Junior has probably gained a little weight with the addition of the Graph Tech ResoMax bridge and Grovers but it was extremely light when I bought it, and it would still be very light. How are you guys weighing these? Just on kitchen scales? Or are you standing on the bathroom scales holding your guitars?

    Epi '98 Cherry Korean G400 SG : ±3.6kg (±8 lbs)
    Epi '61 Black Reissue P90 SG : ±3.2kg (±7 lbs)

Crazy what a pound difference will feel like. Seem like the Korean is twice the weight of the '61. I'll try to get my hands on a digital scale, I used my wife's analog bathroom scale :p
