A few months back I bought a kit for a Weissenborn and have finally gotten around to start building it.
Top, back, sides and bridge are flamed Tasmanian Blackwood. Here's what I've done so far:
Shaped/profiled the sides so they taper towards the headstock, glued the tailblock and headstock in place.

Made an end graft out of Tassie Blackwood and Maple.

Fingerboard is inlayed but still needs sanding and tapering.

I'm about to start gluing on the kerfed lining. After that it's on to tackling the rosette and bracing the top and back.
