Hi everyone, what can you tell me about those orange stains?

They really don’t annoy me at all, I am just curious, I believe it’s a sort of primer under the finish, and if I remember well I saw those orange stains under the pickguard in pu’s cavities.

    thanks!

Could it be a reaction of nitro finish where it came in contact with another material it didn't like (strap stored in the case?)?

It's the paint wearing and exposing the wood underneath.
