So lets say price does not matter.

Boss katana artist versus Boss nextone 80w.

Will add in the GA FC switch.

Boss seems to have confused at least me here. No kaza speaker in nextone right?

Eh... Neither. I'd go with a Katana head and a nice cabinet for that kind of dough. But if I had to choose, I'd be more interested in the Nextone, since the GAFC has some function that would be ideal for live performance.

What's the confusion? They're both fairly different amps, so depending on what your needs are one would definitely be better than the other.

But I agree with Clifdawg, at the pricepoint of these two amps , personally I'd be looking elsewhere. I'm liking my Nextone Stage as it sounds good and is versatile and simple, but it's considerably cheaper and a better choice for me than other similarly priced amps. My Laney Cub 12R, which cost less than the Stage, is still the better sounding amp.

As always, get out there and play some amps and find the one you like best
