Yes! That Vox AC4-BL is definitely a nice "Fender".:D I have one for home use. Great amp.

Seriously though, I need to put aside some money and take my Fender Deluxe Reverb II to a tech to change the tubes and fix the reverb. I haven't used it for over five years... It's a pretty sweet amp, really.

I have a Bandmaster VM but I never hardly ever play clean so the clean channel is a waste for me, I'd much rather have a couple channels that can get some dirt. I'd thought for a long time I'd replace the Bandmaster with a different Fender amp but I haven't taken the time to actually do the research. I've kept the Bandmaster because its actually a great gigging amp with it's 2 channels, reverb, fx loop, digital effects, this would be perfect if I ever got into gigging again.

Just did a little digging around and these Fender amps look interesting with their features: Bassbreaker 15w, Supersonic 22w, Hotrod Deluxe III 40w.

In fairness, if Fender made a Goldface instead of the Silverface he'd be all over it.

Wow I spent some time this weekend playing my SG through the Bandmaster and I forgot how good it sounded! I got it plugged into my 2x12 with G12T75's and it rocks, the only thing I think I'd like to do is put some fresh tubes in it, its been a long time since I looked in it I think it has JJ power tubes and some miscellaneous preamp tubes cant quite remember what. I had the dirty channel set right to the edge of breakup for my clean tone and used a couple various pedals to get my dirty tone. The digital effects the amp comes with are pretty good the reverb, delay and chorus, I played around with those a bit and it was fun :yesway:

For home practice I have my 65 Princeton. Gigging I will use a 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb. My baby though is my 1970 silverface Vibrolux. It stays in the rehearsal room.

It's not a Goldface, but it's the next best thing:

Is that gold vinyl? Like an old Schwinn saddle?

    If so,

    I go small. I use a Fender Frontman/Reverb PR241 38 watt through a Marshall cab with one 10" Celestion.

I literally was going to buy a Fender XD or Blues Jr. but I ran into a deal on an Ibanez TSA15 head and opted for that with the built in attenuator/FX loop & you can shut the OD section completely off which is a 808 circuit with a seperate boost & I have a cab with a WGS Vet. 30 waiting. From all the clips I hear I shouldn't be disappointed :p

Depends on room size and situation.

1965 Blackface Champ with P10R upgrade

    1964 Blackface Deluxe non reverb

One of those brown Vibroverb reissues
(I think from the early '90's?)
    modded for 1 P10R and one P12R
