That's a great deal! HNGD! I'm not going to say "pics or it didn't happen" because someone shortly will type that, but here's a heads up. :p

    Yep, I'd love it!

All of my other electrics (Tele, ES-335, R8) are Bursts so maybe it is time for something different.

I understand. My selection of Fenders and Gib/Epi's runs through a little variety with only 2 bursts in there. My ES 135 is a burst and my Epi LP is a Honey Burst. SG's are like you saw in the white one, a Heritage Cherry Classic, Walnut Special and a Black 3 knob Special. As for Fenders, 2 white, 3 Black, one Blue Glitter, and 1 Natural Mahogany Acoustic

1972-1991 actually. They were built right up until the batwing came back mid-1991. Some cool finish options to send off the '80s Standard at the end, too: metallic Candy Apple Red, Candy Apple Blue and Gold Mist.

I loved it too. That's why I bought it. It is officially my most expensive guitar but so worth it. Original 1976 SG Special.

I've never lived in Toronto, but I live just west of the city.

Colchar, Small world. I never imagined you might know one of my old pals who lives north of the border. Having only been to BC Canada. I can't even fathom living up there especially during winter. I have it rough enough down in Maryland during the freaking cold months.

Thank you and yup, you can see the rosewood type grains when you look at it up close. I wish you could get a chance to play this guitar some. It is one of those rare finishes plus like a time capsule. If you notice, it even has a fret marker in 1st fret.

It isn't bad at all, certainly better than Buffalo. And I say this as someone who hates the cold.
