I bought my very first guitar back in February. I won't say I'm all _that_ good yet, still there are times when I am amazed at how far I have come. I've been noodling around a bit and tried recording myself on my phone of late.

The recording stinks & I can hear my mistakes and bobbles all the way through playing my little song but it's still fun to actually be able to hear myself.

So, my first contribution - Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

16 years in the Army. :D

Yeah, pretty surfish. I'd like to get a bit more metal edge to my instrumentals eventually - say like "Scale The Summit" - but for now, working with a book of old Ventures songs has been really helpful to my learning.

My VHT amp with a reverb pedal in the effects loop does that style well too.

Nice tone! Keep on playing! The middle part where you kind of stop for a second reminds me of the second part of "Oh Well" by Fleetwood Mac. On the rest of it you had that B-52s thing going on. Keep playing and recording.
