Sorry for blurry images, I'm not the best at taking pictures.
That's a nice one. It is rare that a veneer match the bevels that well.
Thank you. There is also some indents on the body because I made the mistake of letting my nephew play with it to hard.
Yes, very nice. Until I zoomed in on pic #1 I thought it might be veneer-less.
Ooooo, a brown Special. Love it!
I too thought it didn't look like a veneer top.
I've been wanting a brown SG for awhile, maybe I'll pick up one of these for cheap.
I got this one I believe for $180, but is it does sound very nice. And feels good as well, especially now that it plays well.
One thing that makes this one (and the G310) fun to play, is that the neck being bolted makes them shorter by more than an inch, since the neck is further inside the body. Thus you don't get the feeling (that some whine about), that on an SG's neck it's hard to reach the lower frets compared to a LP.
It also makes them less prone to the dreaded neck dive (that some whine about).
While I do like the design of a strait through neck on guitars, having bolt on is definitely a lot more useful for any guitar. Dont want to worry about dropping it and breaking the neck.
