That is nice, are they the ones usually $739 US new?
I"m thinking a better deal may be a little older Special, I see them here $500. all the time. It may only be relative.

A true Special or Faded is about as no-frills as I want to go and still feel I'm really getting a USA Gibson guitar, depending on how you perceive that value.

It seems Gibson is making some really stripped down models to dip into the "affordable USA" made, but I dont know.

You can buy a lot of Epi or other brand quality, even more so used, at the $500 price point.

I own a 2003 Faded and love it. This is a great deal in my opinion as I live in Canada and it comes with a hard case. My Faded was bought brand new and came with a cheap Gibson gig bag and was $1000 new.

Looks nice! I'm GAS'ing over the new 2017 SG Standard in dark cherry burst but can't think of how to finance it at this time :(

Just saw one in the shop yesterday. Was scared to even touch it less my wallet come flying out. Absolutely gorgeous - possibly my favorite SG finish of all time.

    LOL gball.

That is what my Classic is like, BEAUTIFUL and worthy of emptying a wallet for. Albeit it was certainly less money than a 2017 Standard would be.

I used the pay as you play plan to get my Gibson 70's tribute (had to Throw in the ditto looper x2 to allow me to use it at the time) and it worked out really well
