    You do realize that Ken Kesey (the guy in the pic, head of the "Merry Pranksters") is an American, right? Go read Tom Wolfe's "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test", it'll give you a little more to talk about.

    i saw them on march 6th here in indy. kick ass concert. the tragically hip i loved. pete dodnt smash any guitars. i was right next to the stage where they would walk on and off right next to me. i was waved at, looked at and pointed at by pete and roger. it was awesome.

    Pete announced sometime last year that he's too old to smash guitars, so he doesn't do it anymore.

    Doesn't he normally have a PA mixing board for acoustic set up next to him, now?

    Funny how he seems to be stronger than he was, or perhaps CBS-era Strats were built to hold up to that stuff.

    maybe its somewhere else on the stage. also even if it isnt set up what makes you think its 2002?

    Actually, that's late 2006-now, he doesn't have a CP-504 and Mesa/Boogie 2x12 half-stack set up there.
