Looking to buy a long Maestro Vibrola to put on my ‘61 RI SG. Let me know what you have!

If you want the actual Gibson model you are looking at $250 - 350 used. There are after market without the engraving a lot cheaper. What is your desire. I have a 70's model.

Yeah. I’m well aware of the prices these things are going for. I haven’t read a lot of good about the AllParts repros, so I’m apprehensive to go that route. There were Crazy Parts models on EBay but it looks like they sold out. If someone has a Gibson one that you know functions correctly, I may be interested.

I disassembled mine to build a Derek Trucks SG and then changed my mind. Let me see if I can locate all the parts, if so we may be able to strike a deal.

A someone who installed a Vibrola on my SG - then removed it again - be very sure it's what you want. For me, it changed the tone massively (it went from rocky SG to Surf) and the break angle across the bridge made it nigh on unusable without jacking the action too high.

Make sure you check all the angles before you install!

Sorry for the delay. I have located all the parts if you are still interested. I will take pics to send to you if you like.

Ah. I actually ended up locating one online. I'll let you know if it doesn't work out properly for some reason.
