Post a photo of your SG being played on stage here. Would be cool to see your different guitars in context. Here is a photo of me playing my SG Junior last night when we supported Mob 47. Given that it is a hardcore punk band some of the modifications I've made - such as a higher output pickup and locking tuners for quick string changes - probably make more sense.

I kind of like this idea better than the usual 'post a pic of your guitar' thread with it on a stand or couch or whatever

The drum kit isn't ours, our band doesn't have some weird pink thing going on. The drum kit was provided by Shep (who also painted the wall mural in the venue and did my tattoos) from Iron Worzel, who played after us.

That photo is amazing - I mean an optical illusion. Your bass player looks like a cardboard cutout from the neck up. Any recordings we can hear? That would be fun.

Yeah there is a link to a cheap demo we did in my signature. Cost us less than $200 to record. We are planning to do one of those 'live in the studio' sessions for the local community radio station sometime over the next few months and maybe record a second demo with the same live in the practice room technique that we used the first time (single takes).

Ditto, donepearce! I was thinking the same exact thing.

Here's a short jam layed down with it by my buddy Casper... I believe he's straight into a Fender Pro Junior...

Just listened to your music. Cool stuff, remembers me a bit to Chaos Z from Germany. Did you hear about them?

You asked for it, so here it is. I don't think that anybody of you could like it, it's too sick. :p

I think I used my 76 tobaccoburst. I don't have any pics of me playing on it because I am mostly playing drums in bands.

Wow... good thread. Should be very interesting.

Looking thru my pix, I found a few. Although my partner here is an avid Ibenez Gem fan, I talked him into using my 73 Custom for an ETSG Contest we ran several years ago. Some of the "old timers" maybe remember.......... Anyway, I got the EDS out so there are 2 of my SG's...

And then going back a little further then that, here is my 65 Sp...

Oh, and here's another with my 84 Sp..........

The SG is great! I have been playing them since I got my first in 1972. If given a chance, they will be very warm to you no matter how much rage or tenderness you pound into them. Some will know what I'm talking about, others may eventually learn and some may never know unless they learn to feel and listen to their SG.............!

Here's a few of my guitars in action, haven't got pics of them all being played at gigs, but most of em.

My current main SG, standard LTD with 60's neck profile, before I added a piezo pick up.

    Cool idea for a thread!

I actually have no good recent live photos, we've mostly been shooting video, here's the best I could came up with. We play punk rock

Six String, I dig it. I mean, I dig the far-out leather vest with fringe, man. Oh, and the SG, too.

Cheers! I hadn't heard of Chaos Z actually, but listening to some stuff they sound a bit like a mixture of Joy Division and Discharge. I guess we sound more like the Discharge aspect. One of the great things about the internet is that you discover old stuff all the time, especially stuff recorded in different languages.

I also had a listen to your clip ... very interesting ... reminds me of something but I can't quite put my finger on it ... so no footage of you playing? I seem to have a lot if footage of myself playing, but most of it is at band practice (we use the camera to record audio as none of our other recorders seem to be as good).

That's a very nicely done, professional video. Your drummer looks a bit like a more clean-cut version Spaghetti, Rato de Porao's drummer back in the late '80s and early '90s 'classic' lineup.
