Not my ax. The Memphis Westin had a case of guitars in the lobby you could borrow and take to your room. The Gibson plant was across the street

Nice! None of the hotels I stay in has anything like that. Unfair!

Damn! They didn't provide just any guitar either. Those look fantastic.

    RVA,
    You look familiar.
We may have crossed paths without realizing it.

I don't have a photo, but here's a link to tune I recorded. It's a cover of a Gord Downie song that's called 'Trick Rider'. All me, except the drums. Borrowed from Jimmy Chamberlain's 'Today' track. I'm not a drummer. The guitars are all Vader - 50's Tribute.

Hey, it did say post it in action...so...

    All right, I'll play:

These were taken a few years ago, now... This was my band Insomniaxe, before the singer got a "dream job" in another state.

Some (honestly pretty great) shots from my buddy Bob. I say that because it's easy to take pictures... making me look good takes some skill!

That's my little brother on bass. He's a terrific slapper!

Here's a video which is a bit more recent. Not the greatest sound quality... but not the worst, either.

I'm gonna stop now before we enter shameless self promotion territory (although you can find our album online at your favorite places: amazon, itunes, bandcamp, cdbaby, etc :naughty:).

I have that same Cocksparer shirt as the singer - got it when they played Brooklyn last year.

We have some clips on YouTube (my band is called Rocks)but they're pretty poor quality from being recorded on camera phones mostly but it'll give you an idea of what we do. Also you can check us out on Facebook under 'Rocks 1977 Australian Punk Rock.' Our whole history is there.

i remember & played several 72 sg's with the les paul raised pickguard, bigsby tremolo, nada for neck angle & the control cavity cover on the front... my cherry sg was purchased in dec 72 & i remember seeing the changed model like mine a few months earlier...

the neck is one of the thinnest i've experienced...
