    Back after many years

Thanks for the tips, even though they were meant for Zoot. The car in that photo is a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. I bought that cat back in 1992 $2500. At the time it was too much after I got looking at it. About 5 years later I got it to it's present state. I would work on it and run out of...

    Back after many years

Thanks. I'm an old guy and really don't know that much about computer stuff. I posted pics of my SG and one car years ago with much help. I don't know how that works but there in the Gibson SG column way back on page 303. the thread is titled 66 Special pics. Sorry I'm not much more help than...

    Vitamin D

Funny as how you get older things change. Five years ago I hadn't seen a doctor in 12 years. A little over 3 years ago I had a heart attack' Now I have 5 doctors that I see every 6 months. Yes, one of the pills I have to take is vitamin D. As it turns out as we get old our bones need way more...

SG players that made you choose the SG

Way back in about late 1965 there was a local guy named Bruce Riddiough that had a SG Standard. He was probably 16 years old at the time and he was really good. I wasn't able to cough up the 300 or so dollars that Standard cost at the time. Some how I managed to save enough money washing...

    Back after many years

Hello all. Haven't been on this site in about 8 or 9 years. I'll have to look around for some familiar names. I hadn't thought about this site in a long time. The last couple days I've been receiving update E-mails. I don't know why or how but I'm curious to look around. I'm really into cars...

    Les Pauls Birthdate

I haven't been here in a long time. It looks like much has changed. I didn't see a post about it yet, but yesterday was the 100th anniversary of Lesters birth. Rock on.

what was the number one hit on the day of your birth?

I don't know about the day I was born, But I do know that "How high the moon" made it to #1 sometime in 1951 for Les and Mary.

    Been having trouble

I haven't been on the site for quite a while. Somehow since the site changed from the old one to the new format I haven't been able to log on. I tried a couple times but the reset password wouldn't work. Finially I gave up. Just thought about everyone a couple days ago and tried again. It took...

    Posting too much

Alcohol will do that to you sometimes. Ha ha. More than once I have got up in the morning and thought "What the heck was I thinking"?. You're a good guy and I learn things here from most that post on this forum. Like ORF said about even if we differ on things we still get along. That's what I...

    Moving.

I hope things work out for you. I had dial up until about 8 months ago. It was slow, but better than nothing. The weather has been pretty damn nice up here the last couple weeks.

1970 mach 1 mustang restoration photo journal

I remember the Monza well. Yes, changing spark plugs on those that had V8s was nasty.

1970 mach 1 mustang restoration photo journal

You're right about that. What I was referring to was the fact that the engine bay on those cars were originally designed around a straight 6 or 289 engine. Once they started putting FE series and Clevelands in them things got kind of tight. Changing spark plugs became a job.
