Just got done with the Epi Muse that I recently obtained.
Gotta do what you gotta do, they were starting to tilt and lift up a little . . .
I pull the STOP BAR THREADED INSERTS out, then with a small file, I file a ring around each of the knurled sections about halfway down the bushing...
A "smoked almond" and "purple passion" are on the way.
The gold one will get a black full face pickguard and black witch hats . . .
And the purple one will get the same white full face pickguard with white witch hat knobs.

I MODIFIED THE REAR SPEAKER JACKS ON MY VOX AC15C1 SO . . .
LEFT JACK = DIRECT AMP OUT .
RIGHT JACK = INTERNAL SPEAKER INPUT .
THE SPEAKER DISCONNECTS FROM THE AMP WHEN THE LEFT JACK HAS A CABLE INSERTED.
NOW I CAN CONNECT MY ALTAIR POWER ATTENUATOR AND HAVE IT WORK WITH THE INTERNAL SPEAKER...
The palm of my picking hand was getting poked by the strings where they're wrapped around on the ends as they come through the stop bar.
I finally got around to putting some insulation on the strings between the stop bar and the bridge.

I installed a 4 k ohm/coil 490R in the neck position and an 8 k ohm/coil Dirty Fingers in the bridge.
And installed 2 Toneshaper CTS pull-up switch/volume control assemblies.
The pull-up switches only affect the Dirty Fingers pickup.
The BRIDGE pull-up puts the DF pickup in single coil mode...

They are seriously focused on building quality instruments.
I assure you the people making these guitars don't want the tailpiece bushings backing out.
If they haven't already, I'm sure they'll figure it out.
I predict that the first company to design, patent and produce a potentiometer/DPDT switch assembly with an overall height dimension of no greater that 3/4 of an inch, will become the world leader in sales of said device.
It shouldn't cost more than a couple of bucks each to produce and could...

Potentiometer taper determination.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Facing the pot from the shaft side,
Measure the resistance of the two outer legs.
That's the value of the pot.
Now, with the shaft at exactly halfway,
Measure between the center leg, (the wiper) and the left leg.
Any tinkering with custom HUMBUCKER COIL MODE SWITCHING ?
Coil polarity, clearance, open coil, under metal, magnetic polarity, pole piece grounding, capacitor value and placement, shielding, wax potting - you name it.
I have a typical SG style guitar w/the standard pickup selector switch.
