    I Moved My Strap Button!

He looks more like a "hunter-gatherer" than a player.

    I Moved My Strap Button!

You know that papagayo is the ultimate Epiphone troll. He will vomit on anything and everything that has the Epiphone name on it. Just put him on the ignore list.

    Is this a Standard ?

Relax ... The guitar is 1½h drive away. I wanted insight on da thing before I take the road. Of course I will try it, feel it, listen to it, smell it, turn it around, inspect it ... am I missing something ?

    Red Under Ebony Paint Finish

T There is a popular belief that most opaque color Les Pauls and SGs are botched stain jobs that wouldn't sell.

    Help: SG issue new strings.

THAT is a lot of vertical movement. Raise at the most ½ turn at a time, one end of the bridge at a time. Then play the whole neck, every note from bottom to top and readjust accordingly if needed. When it sounds normal, try turning back ¼ turn to see if maybe you raised a tad too much. Remember...

Not all p90 SGs same bridge position

Yep here again, a screwdriver could be your savior.

Not all p90 SGs same bridge position

The bridge position has to be the same to have the same scale. It is the position of the pickup that changes and yes, it does make a huge difference in tone. Same on a LP Junior. The further away the P90 from the bridge, the fatter it will sound. I moved mine about 3mm away from where it was and...

    BAM BAM ! ! !

They are not branded as Vintage on the guitar, only the initiated know about their quality. Sellers are rarely aware of what they have. But nowadays, any Korean Epiphone seem to be worth its weight in gold.

What do you think of 490R and 490T pickups in an SG?

    That's for sure. Expensive fun.

What do you think of 490R and 490T pickups in an SG?

And don't forget that a screwdriver is the easiest, fastest, cheapest and by far the most efficient way to a good tone. You might replace your pickups a dozen times, if you put them back at the same height as the last ones, you're missing on something big.

Not at all. Sign of the times if you ask me. People have no discernment anymore. Disconnected from reality, they expect to live in a dream world where everything is perfectly in synch with their self, their ego, their belly button.
