Briefly searched this topic before posting. Are the Gibson quick connect wire colors on the stock pickups the same as other brands? Red-White together, bare-green together and black?

Clipped off the end of my daisy chain and soldered a 9v battery clip to it. It fooled the pedal. :D

Fair enough, but if the lack of constant voltage source isn't detectable by using adapter vs battery on an effects pedal, a volume pedal would be equally undetectable?
