Cool guitar.
My CS is one piece.
It don’t make a bit o’ difference.
What’s under the painted ones?
Probably a horror show.
I’d rather see the wood, but I can’t much when I’m playing.
I’ve taken pieces of credit card or a Tupperware material slice and put them between the top of the guitar and that piece of spring steel.
It tightens up the action quite a bit so “G” bends, etc don’t sink other strings, and the trem is still usable, just tighter action.
I have some popsicle...
That’s a great one!
Possibly even a sought after vintage type guitar.
I don’t follow the vintage market so can’t really advise you much.
Google images will help you identify more accurately, and you’ll see similar guitars to that one selling on Reverb, etc.
You can get a feel for market value...
I’m just a guest.
I would guess when I post a pic I choose the about 480K (middle choice) direct from my iPhone or iPad.
Pic of at least the body. Headstock too if possible.
You could also search google for “seventies SG guitar” and hit “images.”
Had LP & SG Tributes with meaty maple necks. Great idea!
My ol’ Telecaster was SUPPOSED to be thrown in the truck bed in a bag, where an SVT can fall on it!
So what? You might have to tune one string?
My first guitar teacher had an L-7, and sniffed at Fenders.
I grew up on a ‘61 J-45 that the bridge looked like it was lifting on (for the 20 years I owned it).
Had many guitars over the years. Seen many flaws and fixes.
Still like Gibsons best.
I used lighter fluid and a thumb nail to scrape fingerboard schmutz off my fretboard.
NEVER use Goof Off or anything stronger than lighter fluid’s naphtha dose. The heavier naphtha will eat nitrous finishes!
Lemon oil afterwards is good.
Love mine!
I believe they’re trying to do better in QA issues.
Love the neck.
Love the sound.
No cosmetic oops details.
So I bought a B-stock LP to go with (from 2019).
