I installed a 4 k ohm/coil 490R in the neck position and an 8 k ohm/coil Dirty Fingers in the bridge.
And installed 2 Toneshaper CTS pull-up...

What you'll end up doing is soldering the new pickups hot wire to "volume pot high" and its ground lead and shield to "volume pot low",
This is how I do it -
Grip the pickups leg, where the mounting screw threads through,
with a pair of vise-grips or pliers,
and twist/bend it in...
24 fret SGJ's like 'em too -
The 24 fret 70's tributes came with pickup rings,
and took to the full batwings quite well, I would say -
Besides that, look how the grain changes from the neck to the back of the headstock.
Its likely had a headstock repair and they covered it up with...
Plug in a cable and make sure the tailpiece, bridge and strings are connected to ground on the other end of the cable,
(using an ohm meter).
I'm not so sure I would trust those capacitors, they don't match each other.
A quick test would be just to lift one leg of each capacitor and see...

It is exactly what I said it was.
Look at the tone pots.
The SG has the low side terminals connected to ground.
Here's a pic of a tone pot incorrectly wired on the "low side".
