Which pots did you use for the Push/Pulls? I'm guessing they are less shallow than a standard push/pull pot?
What model Dimarzios are in it now? How do they sound?
Dimarzio makes a lot of different PUs and they happen to make EXCELLENT vintage style PUs....

The are two ways to reduce manufacturing costs:
Move manufacturing overseas with lower labor rates for skilled works
Keep manufactuing in the USA...

If everything else on the guitar is fine it wouldn't bother me.
That looks like it got hit by a rapid temperature change.
Was the guitar shipped to you? It may have been on a very cold delivery truck and then...
I too am not a fan of the 57+. I just replaced it with a Duncan JB in the bridge of my Les Paul. Huge improvement.
