There is a new Rolling Stones Album coming out tomorrow called Blue and Lonesome..from the little i heard of it sounds like they are going back to thier roots.. cant wait to buy it. Huge Stones..Keef fan here
I had an Epiphone Masterbilt Dreadnought. It was an awesome guitar but i found it too big for me...I play Electrics for the most part. Its like if your used to putting your arm around a small waisted woman..feels funny when you start hugging a larger woman. That's why i sold it..This guitar...
Yeah..Godin is a Canadian company and they made around 60 for Long&McQuade..Soon as i heard it I knew i had to have it...even brought the wife in to play it too.
Yeah..same company.. The Showcase series is the high end of the Simon and Partrick line..all hand made.. you can even feel the bracing inside and feel that it was made by hand...very cool
Its a Cerwin Vega Subwoofer. Not useful to me...going to try to sell it..Someone experimenting i think..using an old subwoofer to replace a broken bass speaker. I tried it out with my Mesa but it sounded horrible. The ben sounds alot better and is doing what its supposed to
I'm using it with my Mesa 5:25 Express.. Makes it sound very Plexi-like... Had my hollow body playing through it with a huge amount of distortion. I couldn't believe the tones i was getting.
Its a guitar speaker tho...do i still have to run it through a bass amp? It has amazing bottom end already. This is the first speaker I had to break in...any suggestions or advice would be welcome.
A While back I posted about a 1x15 bass cabinet I bought at an auction for $10.
When i opened it up it had a Speaker Subwoofer in it...Useless for my needs but it was a 15 inch cab.
So I bought this 15 inch Big Ben by Eminence.. Man what an amazing speaker...I play alot of Blues and this...
Been gassing for an acoustic guitar for a long time but couldn't find one that suited. Tried out this Simon and Patrick Limited Edition at Long&McQuade and was smitten.
Its a smaller guitar that fits great in my arms and feels very comfortable...it sounds alot like a taylor. it has alot...
When I hear the term Professional Grade Guitar...I think Players guitar.. in other words..a really good named guitar but it looks like ****. it sounds amazing..but alot of people would pass it by because they wouldn't be able to sell it for big money. Someone who just wants to play it would love...
