I'm still quite happy with my THR 10, had it about 3 yrs now, tons of tones, in a small platform. Though not the cheapest option, well worth it IMO.

Ebay is gonna be your friend, if you're wanting to build it yourself. Bourns, or CTS pots, some people have a preference. Bourns are gonna be less expensive, with no discernible difference in quality. Here's a decent place to start, they have everything you'll need, & a fair price...

I picked up a red one at the local pawn shop a few weeks ago. The nut needed some adjustment ( had to be shimmed up 2 pieces of paper, fretted at the 3rd, strings were touching the 1st), & the bridge lowered a bit. Best $60 I've spent GAS wise.
