SG Standard Headstock, WHY DOES MINE HAVE 3 PIECES OF WOOD?
thanks, that makes perfect sense, but feels kind of cheap when the guitars are by no means cheap. Are there any guitars that are all one piece or would this be a structural no no, seems like you have to spend 2k to get a body that is all one piece. -

I just bought an Gibson SG standard and absolutely love it, the only thing that I am concerned with is the head stock seems to be made with 3 different pieces of wood, they are very small pieces of wood seemingly fused to the neck, is this normal? or did I just get a pieced together one...
