Thanks. I didn't realize that. I do know they "updated" it at some point because they added his signature on the truss rod cover. My 2012 model did not have it. But....I added a "Les Paul" truss rod cover and put a single wing pickguard on it......
If I recall right, the Tweedy was released at the same time as the original Derek Trucks. I got a Trucks and remember the Tweedy on the rack at the same time as well. If both started as "limited editions" and only the Trucks remains in production, it's popularity may speak to why the Trucks is...
Anyone know anything about this model? It is described in the model reference on this site as a limited edition run with a 6 way switch. Other specs are listed as well.
Anyone seen one and/or have any opinions? There is one for sale locally I haven't checked out yet.
I just got a Radial Twin City and run the A-B into the normal and vibrato inputs - it made a two-channel amp out of a Deluxe Reverb. I run the vibrato "clean" with reverb and put some pedals into the normal input. It's quite flexible. I even put an EP Booster in front of the Twin City...
I have one I use on an irregular basis. Not very clean if that is what you're after but it does sound nice when gritty. As you have probably noticed, there are a lot of mods out there on the net so, if you get one and don't like something about it you can probably improve it.
It's a good...
I think 2000-2001 had some. Derek Trucks' model is based on his own 2001 from that time frame. Perhaps a recent Derek Trucks' model with an added pickguard might get the look without the tuning stability issues? Just a thought.
Good luck in your search.
