Also, here's one I custom painted for a buddies daughter. Chunky metallic purple burst. We ran purple flake over the black and up the neck/headstock as well.
Certainly gets some comments when she takes it to school :)
Thanks mate. I had just finished restoring an ivory one for a friend, and I always wanted to see how the blue/chrome combo looked. Plus I'm a huge fan of 'one offs' :D

Full on spray gear. Surface primer, metallic lacquer base with clear coat. Wet sanded and hand polished with metal polish.
If you mean the Les Paul 'Custom', yes, they did it in black, white and antique ivory. Mine is custom painted in Pelham Blue (or as close as I could approximate without a valid paint code) :)
I have a G400 Deluxe and a Les Paul Custom, and the Custom has a distinctly different sound with all 3 pick ups turned up. I love it. People say they really ring and I guess that's the best way to describe it.
Yeah, a Gibson is way out of my range too, but I only paid junk price for this because the body was in bad shape. I could have restored it back to antique ivory, but I decided to something a little different with it.
