1963, Cherry finish without any decolorization, Hardly any play-ware. A few dings in the body. Gator case, Hangtag, no fret-ware, featherlight resonant, baseball bat, Brazilian rosewood, fat P90, original wraparound bridge (soon to be replaced by Mojoaxe lightning bolt because of intonation of plain G string) , shrinking pick-guard.... Sound, sound, sound, sound........

That is a Mint Condish SG Junior!

MojoAxe makes a great wraparound bridge IMO. I have one on my '58 Reissue LP Junior DC and could not be any happier. Intonates perfectly up and down the entire neck.

Note the angle of the bridge in relation to the bridge pickup pictured below.

Bridge is parallel in relation to the pickup.

    Beautiful junior!
I have a 63 as well, and went with a Mojoaxe bridge and pickguard too. ( I still have the originals) Great stuff.

Sometimes, I can be a superficial conservative. But these single P90 guitars are the guitars making the conservative inside me creepy after I saw so many single P90 beasts.

    HNGD and Merry Christmas

I own many guitars and one of them is a 1996 Parker fly. It was the most Low weight guitar i've ever played until i got this beauty. It is acoustically the loudest guitar I have. It is louder than my Gretsch 5120 semi!! Plugged into a Marshall origin 50 is just pure magic! Yes, i'm very lucky now!

That is one lovely guitar! SG Juniors are great. My '65 is a bit of a beater, but I'm sure there must be magic living in that old P90.

+1 for the Mojoaxe bridge - I put them on all my wrapovers including my 63 Junior.

Your's must be later in the year than mine cos mine's got the Les Paul silkscreen logo on the headstock.

Mine's original and in pretty good condition but not much red pigment left. Your's is fantastically unfaded:smile:.

This one was probably stored in it's case for a long period. The colour looks really good :-)

Nice find, congrats! I have a less clean '63 LP/SG Jr that I would put up against any but the best sounding bursts. Unfortunately, I need to get it refretted and I don't play it as much as I used to.
