Ok, to get back on track here.................... Heres the poop!

The 1st Midwest Guit Fest is to try and get ETSG members together for a little followshipping, guitar talk and JAMMIN. We hope to have much to offer without having to run around like crazy people making time schedules that nobody really wants to do in the first place. So I present the schedule as it is laid out now.

Sat. May 6th-
2:00- 6:00 Sign in and registration and just relaxing. Get to know each other.
6:00- 8:00 Get settled in to the area.
8:00- 11:00 Entertainment by Scott and Terry.
Sun. May 7th-
9:00- 12:00 Guit talk, Demos, Show & Tell, Try outs, General Story telling
12:00- 1:00- Lunch supplied
1:00 - 5:00- JAM session.

Bring your guitar(s) and smaller amp if desired to join in the JAM

There will be a number of guitars for viewing on Sunday so feel free to bring your axe(s) to add to the parade! (Don't forget the stand) there should be an interesting collection of guits there. A drummer (or two) and bass will help round out the JAM. One note is that Blue Lion Coffee House is an "intimate" place, so half and full stacks are not necessary. There will be several amps on site but I know how it is to play thru someone else's amp............. ;)

We will be having give aways and door prizes..... if I can find a door ;D.......... but don't forget the most important thing is to have fun and get to know each other! Lunch is included on Sunday and if there is enough interest an international breakfast (better then a continental breakfast) will be arraigned.

I will be posting lodging infomation for those that may need it. I am also working on a discount for our event........ but the jury's still out on that one.

Remember that although this is a "Midwest" event, all members are welcome. I will try to answer any questions you have thru the thread or by PM.

[[[[The Blue Lion Coffee House & Pierceton Indiana is located approx. 35 miles west of Ft. Wayne and 60 southeast of South Bend on US 30 and St RT 13. There are a ton of antique shops in Pieceton but you may not have time to look. A detailed map will be available.]]]]

I have some local lodging info for those that might be interested..................

Holiday Inn Express, Warsaw, IN 576-268-1600

I spoke with the Ramada people and they have an "ETSG Block" that they will offer..... but there must be a minimum of 5 rooms taken by group participants........... etc, etc..... but as I told them..... I'm not sure how many may be attending yet. So this is why the sooner I know who may be attending, the sooner I can make some thing happen.......... 8) 8) 8)
