    eehhh wtf?
even the regular G-400 on epi's site doesnt have neck binding anymore.

gone back to how the early G-400s were...stupid.

I didn't think the regular G400 ever had binding... I know I've never seen one w/ binding.

Im very disapointed in new epis, since all the production has moved to the china plant its all been crap.

Well I'd rather disagree with that...I think it's just luck whether you get a nice Epi SG piece, or crap...same story like Mexican Fenders.
I recently played a 2005 China-made one and a 1997 Korean Epiphone SG and the first was better by far.
Both of them are completely stock Epiphone guitars. Nothing has ever been changed...

I just dont like the look of SG's without white neck binding (Though im getting a faded gibson that doesnt have binding). I think the faded epi was better than the regular g-400.

You mean the G-400 Faded or the Elitist SG Faded that Epiphone used to produce? Because the Elitist model was the best affordable SG model ever made, of course much-much better and prettier than the Gibson Faded!
Had the great looks of the '61 SG (of course there was a binding!), Gibson pick-ups, and great playability..and was sold about $250 cheaper than the Gibson Faded here in Europe... :Droolin: :Droolin: (I should have bought one...)

    Sorry for the off-topic...

that really disapoints me... i had the older vintage g-400 and i bought it just because of the fact that it was an epi WITH binding. ofcourse... i sold it, so i dont know why im complaining. buts what a shame
