Anyone have full spec list of 2010 SG Standard? I just bought one, fully stock. I would like to know what are the pickups and what material are the bridge and tailpiece made of. Thanks in advance!

I found one listed as stock with 490R 490T pickups. Bridge and stop tail are most likely zamac. Gibson didn’t start using the aluminum tuneomatic bridge til around 2018 on the HP and 2019 on the Standard.

Thanks! The neck is probably 490R, but the bridge measures 13.5 KOhms, so that cannot be 490T? What could it be? Both pickups look identical: Gibson logo with stamped "T".

The bridge pickup is probably a 498T with those readings.

Thanks! Now I see, Gibson does not give Ohm ratings, the specs say 498T is "output: 9", and that means...nothing in terms of KOhms

Right you are C.G......IDK what GIBSON is thinking putting 490's in a Standard? CHEAP-SKATES is what I am thinking. The 2017 SG Standard just howls with the '57 Classics in it, and the 2018 SG Standard with the '61 R&T are just as badass, and some players say the '61's are even better than the '57's...I like 'em both....and a lot more that the 490 series P-up's. In 2016-17 the 490's were relegated to the lower end GIBSON models...w/exception of the Les Paul CUSTOMS. ICNFB that the CUSTOM shop was putting the 490's in a Les Paul CUSTOM, FFS !...I had to wait 7 years, 2012-2019, before I got the one-time 'DREAM' Guitar I had waited so long for...and it JUST had to have CUSTOM-BUCKERS and Ebony Fret-Board... I just was not puttin up Custom-Shop coinage and getting the cheeeepest Hum-Bucker Gibson makes, the 490's, in a $5000.00 Guitar, no way !

According to the Gibson legacy specs, it looks like 2017 is when they started using aluminum bridges and stop bars for both the SG HP and SG Standard.
Not trying to be a weenie, this is just for accuracy sake for people reading this in the future. I like learning the little details like that myself.
But.. The Gibson legacy pages may not be accurate for all I know.

Have a cigar, as U R correct ! I got one of the '17 SG Standards and it has the lightweight aluminum Stop-Bar. Wish I had bought a few of those.
