    Hey guys,

I'm contemplating selling my 2014 SGJ
I have gas for a new guitar but need to get rid of one to get another. Its all stock upgraded bone nut, small pick guard added and a hardshell case.

What do you guys think is a fair price?

Its typical cherry finish frets are great finish has some wear on the neck and lower bout where it rest on your leg so its broken in.

Gotta keep my eyes open for a deal on one then. I guess they're not the most sought after because of the 12th fret 100th anniversary thing ?

Yes USD. Back in 2014 or so, that is what they were bringing new.
If you know Biddlin, I believe he may have had one or still does.

Hack, your cherry SG looks nice and in good shape, I would start at maybe $600 OBO USD. Mention the bone nut and any other extras like a case or pro set up etc.

Hack, I am pretty sure anyone on here who bought an SGJ will tell you they are a whole lot of good guitar for the buck especially at the price range we mentioned. In addition to them were the Faded Specials, SG Classics with P90's and numerous others.

They are wicked guitars it plays and sounds great. Get more play time than any of my other guitars. I'm almost second guessing on letting it go.

I would second guess letting it go too. I have the same guitar. Bought it at a clearance sale in 2015 at Best Buy for just under $400.00 Canadian taxes in. It's the only guitar I have that has INCRESASED in value! Sounds great, plays great and light as a mahogany and maple feather!
I don't use it as much as I did when it was new as I now play in a Pink Floyd cover band and the Strat and Tele are required. Still... I have no intention of getting rid of the SG-J.

The doubt is real... last night I detailed the neck and body.... conditioned the fretboard....put on new strings. Damn I really do love this guitar. I'm not getting any bites on it on the old interwebs but honestly my feelings won't be hurt if it doesn't sell. I don't want to give it away.
